Great food just steps from your door — from fiery Isaan hot pot to northern noodles and late-night suki.
Isaan Hot Pot & Grill
Chim Chum Suthiporn — Right Across the Street
One of the soi's most beloved spots, sitting directly opposite B.U. Place. The star of the menu is jim jum — a bubbling, herb-fragrant Isaan-style hot pot you cook at your table — but there's plenty more: char-grilled pork neck, som tum, and a full range of Isaan classics. Lively atmosphere, generous portions, and open late every night. Open daily 17:00–02:00.
Noodle Shop
Tom Yum Noodles "Na Daeng" — Under 100 m Away
A long-standing neighbourhood favourite that locals on the soi come back to again and again. The signature tom yum broth is bold and aromatic, and you can customise your bowl with a wide choice of toppings and noodle types. A proper local lunch spot — arrive early as it sells out. Closed Tuesdays.
Suki & BBQ
A-Long Hong Kong Suki — No Need to Go Far
Craving suki but don't want to venture out? A-Long is your answer — a well-regarded Hong Kong-style suki spot right on the soi. Beyond the suki, don't miss the salt-crusted grilled fish and mala barbecue, which keeps the regulars coming back night after night.
Northern Thai
Khao Soi & Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao — Northern Flavours, Local Prices
A short 130-metre stroll brings you to authentic northern Thai cooking at everyday prices. Khao soi — the creamy coconut curry noodle soup — and khanom jeen nam ngiao — a rich, slightly spicy tomato-and-pork broth over rice vermicelli — are both on the menu. On the way, you might find yourself tempted by a boat noodle shop or a khao man gai stall too.
Convenience Store
7-Eleven In-Building — The Biggest One on the Soi
The ground floor of B.U. Place has one of the largest 7-Elevens on the entire soi — which means a noticeably bigger food selection than your average convenience store. Hot toasties, steamed bao, fresh bread, chilled drinks, fresh-cut fruit, salads, and onigiri are all stocked daily. Ideal for a quick breakfast, a late-night snack, or stocking up before a long day out.
